Call for expressions of interest to host RAISE 2023!

We are delighted to open our call for expressions of interest for an institution to host the RAISE Annual Conference in September 2023.

This flagship event grows year on year, bringing together students, practitioners and academics to share practice, research findings and network from across the world. We are seeking a venue and academic institution to host our largest event in our annual cycle to bring the network together from 6th-7th September 2023.

The RAISE Committee are seeking a location and venue which would foster fantastic networking, have good travel links, plenty affordable accommodation available and great amenities. The lead contact will be welcomed onto the RAISE Committee as Conference Coordinator from September 2022 – October 2023 and will be fully supported by the wider committee in the process of organising and promoting the event. We intend this event to be predominantly in person but we welcome applications to include how there may be blended/digital options.

If interested, please may colleagues apply by completing this online form with the below details by 21 March 2022:

  • Lead contact (Name, role, contact details)

  • Institution

  • Capacity of conference facilities and accommodation (must be at least 300).

  • Names of wider colleagues who can support lead contact (we recommend that coordinators bid with colleagues to support with capacity).

  • How students are intended to be engaged in the organisation and design of the event.

  • Conference charges for a two-day conference including catering and day rate details (must have 1x plenary space and at least 6x breakout rooms).

  • A brief description of other conference support, facilities and catering details.

  • Travel links and accessibility.

  • Technical support options for hybrid elements.

  • Any supporting documentation (e.g. conference venue brochures)

All applications will be considered by the RAISE Committee w/b 4 April 2022.
