Hosting RAISE 2027

We are delighted to open our call for expressions of interest from institutions wishing to host the RAISE Annual Conference in early to mid September 2027. 
Our flagship annual event continues to grow year on year, bringing together students, practitioners and academics from across the world to share practice, research findings and opportunities to connect through the RAISE network. We are therefore seeking an academic institution and venue to host our largest event in the RAISE calendar in September 2027. 

The RAISE Committee is looking for a location that supports excellent networking, offers strong transport links, has a range of affordable accommodation options, and provides high quality facilities. As the annual conference is the main income stream for the RAISE association, we are seeking to attract over 250 delegates per day and to generate a surplus of at least £30,000. 

The successful lead contact will be invited to join the RAISE Committee as Conference Coordinator from September 2026 to October 2027, and will be fully supported by the wider committee throughout the planning, delivery and promotion of the event. The conference will be delivered in a hybrid format, allowing delegates to attend either in person or online.

All submissions will be reviewed by the RAISE Committee, and bidders will be notified of the outcome before 17th July 2026.
