2025
4-5 September

In September 2025, the RAISE Conference will be hosted by the University of Glasgow where our conference theme will focus upon the changing landscape of Student Voice. We invite delegates to share best practices on current student voice practice within their institutions and students’ unions along the themes below, where we particularly welcome presentations that include students. Submissions can be made through a variety of formats such as workshops (60 minutes), project or research presentations (15 minutes), campfire discussion sessions (15 minutes), storytelling (15 minutes) or poster presentations. RAISE welcomes presenters both new and experienced, whose submissions will be peer-reviewed anonymously.
Conference Sub-Themes
• Empowering All Voices: Inclusivity, Diversity, and Reaching the Unheard;
• From Feedback to Action: Making Student Voice Meaningful and Impactful;
• Student Voice in the Digital Age: Leveraging Technology and Innovation;
• Student Leadership and Advocacy: Training, Empowerment, and Recognition;
• Authentic Student-Staff Partnerships: Co-Creation for Lasting Change
The RAISE Annual Conference offers the opportunity for all students, staff, and anyone interested in university and college higher education, to showcase their practice and research. We particularly welcome student-led and collaborative submissions between students and staff. The RAISE annual conference is a friendly and welcoming conference and provides a supportive environment for first-time presenters.
We are proud to announce that this years evening reception has been sponsored by Explorance.
