Location and Travel

The conference will be at the University of Leeds, and based in the Esther Simpson Building. Further information about conference venues and accommodation will be released soon. Details about the campus, city and and getting to the university can be found here.

Travel details are as follows.

 

Air: Leeds is served by two major airports: Leeds Bradford and Manchester. Regular flights are available from a huge number of European and International cities. Leeds Bradford airport is approximately 8 miles away from the University, so is an inexpensive taxi ride away.

 

Rail: Leeds station connects us with all major UK cities and has a fast and efficient London service. The University campus is just a 20-minute walk from Leeds city station. 

 

Bus: There are number of excellent bus services in Leeds. There is also a city bus which stops at the bus and train stations and the southern end of campus every 10 minutes from 6.30 am–7.30 pm.


Road: Leeds is linked to the M1 and M62 and is very easily accessible. Parking for disabled “blue badge” holders is available on campus for visitors. Parking on campus is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis. Charges and further information can be found on the University of Leeds Car Parking website. There are a number of city centre car parks that are only a short walk from the campus.
